Whether you like her or not Sarah Palin has a knack for attracting an audience. Tonight she appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. It beginning to look a lot like Palin can draw a crowd. Trust me; people are taking notice, most recently Jay Leno. Celebrating his second night of his return to his late night slot, Leno is taking advantage of Palin’s star power to draw an audience and attempt to overtake the late night leader, Dave Letterman.
No one knows for sure if Sarah Palin will throw her hat into the ring as a serious contender for the office of President of the United States. But the political posturing will be interesting.
The GOP candidate dropped out of the race and and Independent ran against the lone Democrat and lost. For the first time since the Civil War New York 23 has a Democratic Congressman. Independent voters made the difference in the New York Congressional race. The Obama agenda was not at stake in the Governor’s race was not at play in Virgina, and New Jersey. Democrats who supported economic recovery plan issues in congressional races in California and New York won.
The message to those Democrats in the Congress and the Senate is to deliver on the promises made in 2008. Health Care reform with a robust Public Option, Jobs, and a thriving economy.
Sarah Palin is actually “Going Rogue”, with her new book scheduled for release in November, you guessed it, “Going Rogue”. One thing. Palin cannot be accused of a lack of “drama”, and she has plenty of it, only with a good dash of moxie. If there is one characteristic to like about Sarah Palin it is her nerve. She’s got a lot of that too. Webster defines rogue, among many definitions (plants etc., that do not perform to a desired standard). Let see Webster’s also defines rogue as a dishonest person. I want list the other definitions that Webster offered. I believe she could have picked a better title for her book.
Maybe she did not read Websters. To leave the American people to determine, just what she meant is, well, a stretch and a huge risk. Here’s even more material for Saturday Night Live.
